Last night we had the privilege of attending the Rotary Jimboomba Step Up Dinner in support of Breakthrough T1D 💙

The Jimboomba Community Hall was filled with generosity, great food, raffles and a community that truly shows up when it matters. Events like this are a beautiful reminder of the power of locals supporting locals.

We were also incredibly proud that Honey Button House raised over $1,000 for the charity through our custom hat sales, and flower centerpieces, which is just amazing! Every hat sold helped contribute to the night’s fundraising and to supporting research for Type 1 Diabetes.

A highlight of the evening was hearing Olympic legend Steven Bradbury speak. His story was fascinating and honestly not at all what I expected. It wasn’t just about that famous Olympic moment, it was about years of perseverance, setbacks, determination and continuing to get back up when things go wrong. Truly inspiring.
Thank you to Rotary Jimboomba for hosting such a meaningful evening and for the incredible work you do in our community.

Yesterday one of my florists showed me a photo from Valentine’s Day… and I just melted 🥹

In the middle of the rush — phones ringing, ribbons flying and roses everywhere — this little angel was found all curled up, using the flower boxes as a blanket surrounded by hundreds of roses. Just patiently waiting for her mum to finish helping everyone else feel loved.
This is the part you don’t always see behind a florist shop.
The long days. The late nights. The kids who grow up knowing busy seasons mean sharing their mum with the whole community, just for a little while.
They make themselves a nest of roses and wait 🥹
The big days aren't just about flowers here — it’s family, sacrifice, and tiny helpers who are part of Honey Button House just as much as we are.
