Honey Button House, A Family Florist

Honey Button House bloomed in 2024 from a shared dream between Monique and Lyel: to create a life where family, creativity, and nature could flourish together. What began on their hobby farm has grown into a much-loved creative florist and workshop space, deeply rooted in community connection and meaningful experiences.

We believe creativity and nature are essential to wellbeing. Whether through flowers, art, or getting our hands dirty in the garden, slowing down and creating brings joy, clarity, and a sense of belonging—something we love sharing with others through our work.

Founder Monique is a lifelong creative with a degree in Industrial Design and a minor in Graphic Design and Visual Arts. With over 15 years’ experience in the wedding industry—as a wedding coordinator, cake maker, florist, and entertainer—she brings a wealth of knowledge, artistry, and care to every project.

Since opening, Honey Button House has grown beyond a traditional florist into an award-recognised creative hub for weddings, workshops, events, and heartfelt floral work. Multiple business awards and industry recognition celebrate its creativity, innovation, and strong community impact.

The name Honey Button House comes from Monique’s favourite nickname for her children—a reminder that at its heart, this business is about family, creativity, and growing something beautiful together.

"Monique was such a pleasure to work with! She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for my big day! She arranged the flowers better then I could have ever imagined! She's very gifted in what she does and this made planning for my wedding day so easy. Thank you again for your amazing work!"
